hi all, can some one clear this up,

i want to put some front spot/driving lights on to my front a-bar of my disco 2 td5 2003 will there be a loom already in the car or have i got to fit one and relays etc?

yes there is a propper loom for the disco 2 but its not cheep but it keeps every thing standard tiday and gives you the propper switches i am guessing but it wont be less than £60 and dont no realy where to get one from
have a quick look to see if its already fitted tryremoving the 3rd switch blank down on the left hand side of the guages and see if the wires are there and have a look at the engine bay fuse box there should be an extra black box at the back with a fuse stuck on to the side of it

The wiring is existing on later D1's, are you saying this is not the case on the D2's and LR now charge for the additional wiring.

Recently did this job on mine with a wiring loom bought off Ebay -First class construction for 24.99. Bought from Mendip auto electrical - he has them for pre-face lift and post face lift models.

i dont realy no as the spots were all ready on my disco but i no others have had to fit the loom dont no if the wiring became standard at any time or was fitted to top spec models
