All done now and tight as ever! No more horrible rattling noise and no clonk in the drive train! Thanks for all the help, especially your guide buster!

It was actually quite an easy job to do. There was one little hiccup though and I ended up having to put an old bearing back in (I know it defeats the object, but it was the best of the bunch!) it's still like new and its absolutely perfect. The hardest part was getting the circlips out, the awkward little bastards.
 
why did ya put the old beaing in, that aint going to last very long!
I would get another one in ready for when you have to do it again.
 
yeah i need to get a decent circlip plier set. I had to improvise last time and used a piece of wire and some pliers!

How do you spell pliers? plyers? hmm...
 
To get the circlips off you need tae give the furst uj a good squirt with plenty gt85/ wd40 then try and give the top of the uj a good belt with a hammer. Once yeve got that out, do the same on the other side and then repeat again;) :D

ere buster how the fook do ya get them there plastic **** off under the wing without wrecking it?
