ARB kit is good but expensive. I’ve been looking at an awning from 4x4 direct which is cheaper.

Thanks for the info guys. Now that I have looked into this a bit more, I have put this on the back burner. A normal frame tent will better suit my needs, looking at Cabanon brand which I have had previously (shouldn't have given it to my brother when I upgraded to a trailer tent ).

I think a stand alone tent is a better idea too.
What if you want to go somewhere and need the car, you'd need tp pack everything up first ...

They are. Very pricey but you gets what you pay for.

Something I never thought of before. On Wednesday when me n mates met up at our rally, they had set up their camper vans and me my little tent. So who got volunteered to go for the take-away curries because his Landy was still mobile? ------
