Hi all,
So, clunking when on full lock led me to decide to replace the front CVs on my 2000 P38 4.6.
This led me to discover my hub bearings were knackered and the drums on the back of the hubs that the abs sensor picks up from were shot too.
Oh, then, of course I found my front prop ujs were needing replacement.
So, I read that disco 2 hubs fit and promptly bought a pair. Unfortunately they don't have the drum on the back so I used the disco abs sensors going that they would work.
Now I have both abs and traction faults.
So, should this set up work and it's simply a case of having the faults cleared or are disco sensors incompatible?
Do I now need to find two new P38 hubs and swap them out for the disco units?
Advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
