Is it just me, or has the forum advert load just got insane recently?

I mean, once I've slid up the drop down covering half the screen, I then get this kind of thing (screen shot from my phone) -

It's madness. It's getting worse than Facebook!

(Obviously on the desktop computer I've got all sorts of plugins to rid myself of them, but on the phone it's harder)

As a fellow user, mine are mainly from advertising by Pornhub Xhamster and Freelander Dogging sites. But seriously though I suspect it's a revenue earner for Landyzone to allow advertising more than ever. Currently with AI via your phone browsing target these become more personalised. I looked for Flight socks for work and yep Landyzone advertising same thing. So clearly Cookies sitting in the phone get switched on. Says much what Nig and JohnM70 are getting beggars belief
Worth checking the cookies list and then clearing the cache occasionally. My guess is when you buying a new phone, it's not preloaded first with the junk only accepting access later when browsing.

Sorry am on a pc not a phone ... why would you use a phone, they are for making phone calls and sending the occasional text ???

Must admit, I only ever use my phone on here, Mrs uses the laptop most of the time.

PC only for me as well. Phones are for making calls. Cameras are for taking pictures. Pcs are for the rest.

I don't see the ads on my 'phone but I suspect that's why I have so many problems loading and posting!

Just took me ten minutes to fill in a new password (reset) through all the chaff adverts

I used to get them before.Then when I visited the std clinic, my member improved.
