They is plastic cups which hold 500ml. Got about 10 from sainsberrys near 20 years ago. Logical fing would be to change to glass. Me pipes were lead and water contamination were high enuff to taste. Running the tap cleared it but water standing in a cup went bad after a few hours. Now thats sorted eye is fascinated as to how me cups are contaminated. Assa nippa we used plastic cups so it just continued. Can't find anyfink that will clean me cups to get rid ov wot eye can smell, but can't see, when the cup is empty.Maybe go to ornery porcelain or china ones then. But if we ever have drinks down by the pool we have a massive set of all sorts of types of plastic glasses so peeps can have any drink they want. The obvious reason being, no one wants broken glass down by, or worse in, the pool. W got them from the US where they really do go to town on them. Our Dutch friends asked us where they came from as they couldn't find them anywhere and then bought some when they went there on holiday!
Each to their own, I have known other peeps keep a plastic mug of water by the bed. Never thought about it before.
