Hi, freelander 2, wanting to fit a new battery to my 2013 freelander TD4, when I have fitted it do I have to have the battery monitoring system reset or does it reset itself
Help is appreciated

The battery monitor should be reset if doing the job correctly, but it does seem to adjust to a new battery in time. You'll need to reset the windows and clock too.

Which battery are you going for on your FL2 is it an Auto or manual, does it have stop start etc,

Before i fitted new battery i connected positive and negative cable from car battery connections to a slave battery on completion of fitting new battery i have not had to reset windows or clock

Yuasa are quire a respected brand and I've used them on both my FL1 and FL2.
Do not buy 'cheap' - the FL is a power-hungry car and needs a heavy-duty battery
