Have thay changed the name for MTF oil having a problem getting it over here ?? Have searched the tinnet but no joy
Can you not just search for it with the SAE number?

To me it was always interesting that a Cortina 4 speed transmission ran on manual gearbox oil but once they bolted the 5th gear to it for the Sierra they needed ATF.

What you doing it on?
Td5
I put atf in my td5 R380 and the gearbox went very notchy and crunched gear changes so I ordered mtf and it went back to normal
The spec says for MTF has more friction than ATF so I suppose that's the reason and the difference in them ?

That's funny, there seems to be plenty of MTF 94 advertised for sale here in the UK, so it doesn't look like it's gone out of fashion just yet.

Interestingly, whilst the old Difflock Evo overpriced transmission fluid seems to have diaappeared off the internet, pretty much exactly the same thing is now available as Titan ATF 4000 Dextron, complete with exactly the same hyperbolic advertising blurb as the old stuff: https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/e...7-r380-borg-warner-chain-drive-trans-box.html

Got clocked by a falling sheet of MFC first thing, badly stacked, baskit.
I was the first one in as usual, lucky it didn't knock me out.
I'll have a new scar now so not so purdy any more, seven stitches.
Gots a plaster over it, will post a pic for the weirdos tomorrow. :stars:

... the old gal did not get operated on today. Nil By Mouth since mid-morning but no chance to get done.
Maybe tomorrow.. Wifey has been on tenterhooks all PM after they called her to discuss "options" and risks this afternoon.
Another nail-biting day tomorrow then. :)
I've had this situation with loved ones too - operations getting postponed, sometimes at the last minute. In a sense, once they're actually in theatre, it's somethign of a relief. Then they're in the recovery suite, and the process of being an informal carer starts all over again . . .

China chap won. Some burd passed him a flag so he wrapped it round himself. They were banging on about him being from china. First this and that. Then he won. They do flags in the limpic's but snookers a bit old fashioned.
I think I may have commented earlier that before we left the UK I saw the leader board and there were about 3 Chinees in it.
Shame they didn't "read the room" about flag-waggling. As you say, nooker is still quite a conservative sport in its lack of high 5s and all the other BS that goes with many other sports. Just tapping a table, frinstance, when you realise you have had a lucky fluke.

Still finding it weird that in the matches I watched 90% seem to be refereed by wimmins. Not complaining, just feels a bit weird.
