Based on my experience with them, I would avoid Varta. Yuasa or Hankook are better. I believe that he HANKOOK MF31-1000 fits just about.
Twinwoods 4x4 advertise the MF31 to fit the 300tdi and TD5 plus other Land Rovers
MF31-1000 fit's my TD6 but some have had issues with the battery disconnect module, I believe there are 2 types.
I've also been recommended this, see below, what do you think?

AGM batteries are not suitable or use with a standard alternator set up but they are of course fashionable.
