looking at ordering a steel steering guard from the paddock website, the one with inbuilt recovery eyes.
just wondering how the steering guard attaches, and wether it requires modifications.

I got one of these and it fits very easily, took about 20 mins to fit and ws by far the cheapest round (but mainly cos i ordered a lightweight flimsy one and they cocked up and accepted the order but didn't have any so i made a fuss and they sent me a heavy duty one!)

Just watch out for steel swarf left in the holes before it was galvanised, at first i thought they hadn't drilled the holes big enough for the bolts but it just chipped out. Very easy to fit though and very heavy duty.
 
Ask Raz.... or CS Components on fleabay....his are excellent...fit like a dream and very cheap too
 
try looking for RAZ8550TDI ive ordered one off him just waiting for it to come !!!!

being a student,sadly 70 squid is to much really, thats one steering guard from paddocks plus 2 diff guards :(
shame as they look the dogs danglies.
 
i give up with raz, sent him a cheque on july 1st for a sticker, do i have it.....no!!! each week he says oh i sent it yesterday, i mean come on how many times can you send it. i wouldnt mind if he said he has problems getting hold of it etc or hasnt got any but its the fact he keeps lying every week. i know its only 3.50 but its the principle. raz i didnt want to make this a public affair but come on man, its been going on long enough and the pms werent getting anywhere. rather dissapointed as you all speak highly off him. i hope this is a one of error raz and in time i too can speak highly of you.

hiya mate, firstly can i add that i have sent a 3rd one out now, dont have time to go the post office to get an accurate postage cost due to work commitments so had to guess them, and have very little time on the landy zone spare to get to you all and did this off my own back, there is a pile of stickers in my office which where all paid for off my own back, have i took any money from you????????????????????? i really hope your not implying anything there????:rolleyes:
people speak highly of me here cause i help out an awfull lot in everyway i can wether it be advise or on a business level with products and pricing for LZ members.
the only reason the payment is made to c s components is cause the guy put them on the same invoice as the business ones so no this does not reflect customer service on that level either as i am sure peeps on here will back me up on.
many other members have had to wait on stickers due to the postage innacuracy before and again they will vouch for it.
basically to sum it up I HAVE TOOK NO MONEY FOR THE STICKER!!!!
it will be with you in the next day or so and lets hope it 3rd time lucky, sorry to be blunt about it but its what can be percieved by your comment.
again sorry it had to be this way.
FFS i even have a mate of an LZ meber who owes me money for parts sent out so he can get his disco through a MOT, (yer i aint forgot) ooooo and another member who is well aware of this post!!!!!! hehe!!!!


p.s anyone who wants stickers in futur yer can stick em up yer arse ;)
just kidding, just give me some slack on the delivery.
