I have a 2004 Freelander. I'm a bit stumped hoping someone can help. I'm trying to locate the EWS because I need to have a key programmed to crank the vehicle. Reading some threads I thought perhaps it was behind the radio. I removed the radio and instead found what I believe to be the immobilizer. (it was back behind the radio to the left.) Didn't see any signs of the EWS behind the radio. Thanks in advance!

When I was a child back in the middle ages - the 1950's - EWS was painted on many a building, post WW2. It identified "Emergency Water Supply" location in case of water supply being bombed. Can't help with EWS in this case though.
