My first car had a coat hanger for an aerial when they used to make them out of metal.
My DT has the worst functioning aerial of any vehicle I have owned. Including the old 90 you had to get out and retract it out of the wing.

I had a coat hanger on my series3. Easy to replace when it got nicked

You’d think with prices when new and the amount of electrics on these things that’s the one thing that would be right up their alley
Perhaps they act like their own 2 1/2T faraday cage
