It feels just like a bad body cold with sore ribs, a chest infection and tiredness.. A lot of aches first thing but the paracetamol keeps that at bay.. A cross between à heavy cold and a bad hangover

Sounds a bit worse than my son who had it over Christmas little more than a mild cold the lucky git, fortunately he did not give it to the rest of us .

I agree, sitting around is not good, just as long as you do not overdo it. The last 2 folks I know that had it were over it in a week, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that a young un like you will get over it even fasterThat's the thing, I need to get out and work..
