I haven't checked can bus wires. It is also hard wired from what I have found which should over ride can bus if its not working.

I think that is only true if another brake module/component fails. Then you can apply as per the failsafe built into the system.

Will give them a check tomorrow. I would have to get one with a weird fault, couldn't have been a broken wire or stripped cogs in the motor lol

Just a thought… it hurts so I don’t do it often.

@Datatek had an epb apart for a looksee and said he had a board going if anybody could put it to use, not sure what postage or customs issues maybe involved.

Just an update on this...
Got a used epb sitting waiting to be put on BUT...
After staring at my reader for too long some things popped out. Checking live data my steering angle was 3oo n odd degrees while driving in a straight line ! My yaw rate jumps from -20 to +30 while parked and my lateral acceleration sensor is reading 0.5 mph while also parked
I presume those readings are all linked ?
I have " fixed" the ring that the sas picks up back to the steering column ( as it was flapping about, loose ). Will calibrate this when the araldite has dried lol.
