Any tips or pointers on good ways to change these? Access looks pretty horrendous. Got new plugs, leads and coil packs ready to go on.

They do come out through the gap on the RHS, easier if you can get the leads off first.
It's a bit of a wiggle and make sure you have plasters at the ready

Mine has had part of the backing plate cut away so there's only one (right hand) bolt holding it in place. Wonder if that helps...

I pull the upper intake off makes life easier especially if you have large hands.

If you have woman hands it might be slightly easier.

If you have SAI plumbing like I do on my Disco 2 it’s a PITA! The intake manifold will have to be removed to replace the packs.
Just follow what @kermit_rr mentioned and you can’t go wrong.

Pull the intake manifold off, your gonna hate your self if you don't and you get those leads in the wrong place
I could probably do it with my eyes closed now!! Though probably wouldn't make much difference as you can't see buggerall anyways!!
Not put them on wrong yet, getting them off is the hard part

I would recommend tagging all the plug wires and making a diagram showing where they go.
Had a devil of a time getting them right when I changed my packs.

Yep. This pic was from last year when the boot ripped while making the HT leads and lining them up for installation.
