Alright Guys (& girls!)

Im goin to pick up a doner disco tomorrow in order to rip out the injun and whatever else I can salvage.

The plan is to recondition the engine before I drop it into the defender. Problem ive got is.... I dont know what the fook im doing!! Ive got a good friend who is a good mechanic who is planning to help me, but I dont wanna take the **** and wouldnt mind having half a clue before I start.

I have got time on my hands. The plan is to do a bit here and a bit there. But where do I start.

A check list would be good. Any advise would be great!
