So more the support members underneath than the alloy skin?

Not certain, but those might be the same as the supports on a Defender, and they are avaialble.
Lots of ally missing, had to fudge behind it so i could still bolt it down. It's likely worse with having sat for a while too :(

If it is under cover, it probably hasn't gone much worse. It is getting wet that really sets off the corrosion, which is caused by alloy and steel close together. So when you rebuild it, if you put plastic, or any insulating material, between the parts, it doesn't happen again.

Check the conditions for the valued bit/clause, some companies insist it is covered/garaged or parked off the road.
Being a 58 in decent nick, says to me it has to have an agreed value of 10k minimum.
Thats why I didn't want to stick it on the drive and not insure it

Getting we isnt too bad, as long as its in the open and the air can dry it out
