Ok, doing my 110 rebuild at the moment, getting on well with it, got chassis near finished and ready to start building the body.

Bit of a question really, i got a new bulkhead for it, the old one is off and in one piece, but how long should the change over take?

I have been told its the biggest job on the landy, and it looks quite a task, but am i just worrying over nothing?

Any tips on easy ways to do it would also be appreciated!

Cheers, the big fella.

It's not going to be that big a job if the old one's already off is it. Just bolt the new one on then swap the bits off the old one onto the new one. Job's a good un.

it'll take longer than you think, and dont do it in a hurry cos you'll be getting all stressed when things dont go right

Yeh, cheers, just cant decide wether to put the new one on then strip the old one, or do them side by side in the garage!

firt the new one to the chassis first and then get the old one next to it ready fer the swap over . the hardest part is holding the bastard whilst you put the two bolts in;)

Tiz a biggish job but if yer changing yer chassis then it's nowt reeely.

, and it looks quite a task,
Utter poppycock.

but am i just worrying over nothing?
Yis.

Build yer rear body up first an leave yerself plenty of room fer your doors, 1/2" clearance int enough!!! Fit any nutserts before you fit it using yer owld bulkhead as a template. Make sure yer doors an roof fit properly before you fit yer dash an stuff.

Took my about 4 days working 9 till 6 and with fairly lengthy stops during those days.

The most important part is the planning - I spent a while on this and had EVERY part possible in a box ready.

Mmmm! Sounds like i need the wife makin coffee!

Got the new one on, with bolts in and old one next to it, so here goes:eek:

Recon i could be gone a while..............

Done it!

Got there in the end, took around 12 to 14 hours in total i recon.

No major hick ups just lots of it to get on with!

Hopefully the easier jobs now when you can see progress in less time, such as wings, seat box and rear tub back on.

I`ll post the full set of pics from the rebuild when ive finished the lot!
