Hi again.
Wife pulled out and caught our adjoining fence that we share with our neighbours. Fence has been repaired, FL not so much.....

A few bodywork places have said I need a new door.....but I'm not keen on spending a couple of thousand on it.
Any thoughts re can it be repaired? Should I claim on my insurance, etc?

Could you not try and find a door from breakers yard, or on ebay and swap it out. what colour is the FL

It's more expensive to repair that damage, than get a matching second hand door from a breakers yard.

Personally I'd not tell the insurance, as you'll increase your premium, as in the insurers eyes, you're now a higher risk to them.

Its probably dirt cheap compared to a new one - which will also need painting.

Its more expensive than those linked to on eBay - but I think those had dings in.

That GOS site had cheaper doors - but they had dings in.

Not a bad price for a door in good condition that (I think?) is colour matched.
