I assume from the mention of pipes it's a V8? Best place for information is the workshop manual called RAVE. It can be downloaded from the Technical Archive.CC. Pipes are fine but not good with a multimeter so best options. No clicking heard so relay? indicator switch lights but no CC indication on info bar? or.... just forget it?!
Thanks

Cruise control vacuum pipes?
It's quite hard to spin them fast enough to get reasonable readings on a multi meter. But doing the ETG completely is definitely shortest route to finding the problem. It is the one thing that is still not working on mine.
I have tried a lot of things and followed the ETG to the point where I am meant to spin wheels and simultaneously check voltages. That's where I began to lose interest.![]()
Don't laugh, but I have thought of putting both axles up on stands to let the engine do the spinning for me.It's quite hard to spin them fast enough to get reasonable readings on a multi meter. But doing the ETG completely is definitely shortest route to finding the problem.
Yes done that as well !!Don't laugh, but I have thought of putting both axles up on stands to let the engine do the spinning for me.
