The D2 has been seeing some mud over the last couple of days - nothing extreme, but enough that CDL was needed and HDC going down some steeper slopes. Twice now on restarting the TC and ABS lights remained on. In each case after a couple of hundred yards I stopped, restarted and they did not reappear.
I'm guessing it was just something like crud washed into the sensor ring, but I've not seen it before. Is it normal?

Thank god for a Disc 1 200tdi, not a scrap of ECUs or electricery to affect it when mud plugging:)

On early modells the ABS/TC lights are coming on after ignition if the CDL was engaged and they recycle with ignition once the CDL is disengaged, it's explained in the WSM at the transfer box description

That will be the reason. Each time it occurred I was restarting with CDL still engaged. Good to know it was normal and not a harbinger of imminent amigos.
Thank you SF.
