hi all i am looking at buying a p38 on monday it is a 97 derv can anyone tell me where to check the id as the owner at the moment thinks he is a bit of a gangster and looks a bit dodgey if you know what i mean

i was going to do that but how do i check the numbers on the car tie up with the log book?
where are they found on the vehicle

i dont know where the vin plate is on a rangie, its onto of the brake servo on a defender and on the front by the rad on a disco, so try there.

If you buy the car you will always wonder about it, wether you've HPI checked it or not.
