i got hold of some very cheap brand new britpart vented discs for the front of me 90 300tdi. paddock sell seperate pads for vented discs which i have bought. just wanted to know if my calipers will take them

Get yer steel rule out, or your vernier calipers and measure the thicknesses of existing disk and new one. If new one is roughly the same thickness they'll fit fine.

... but I doubt it, thats why you usually get vented disc callipers - you can get the spacer kits to allow your callipers to accept them though...

i think i'll put em on tea bay and get me some good quality standards. turns out there almost double the thickness.

I bought a new set of mintex pads for my 300tdi fitted with vented discs. Tried fitting them just before its mot back in october and the buggers wouldn't fit. Had to wait til now to let the discs wear down enough to get em in.

i have the spacer kit for your calipers with channel seals. all you would need is the longer bolts... then you have yourself some vented disks!
