Gonna replace the rear (boot) door latch tomorrow, and although it seems really easy compared to the drivers door, are there any gotchas which I need to be aware of?

It can either go really easy or be a right PITA,

I remember it being a damn sight easier than the passenger door but it was winter so I've blocked most of it out, you've got the right temperature for it now

Just on the subject of the back door, Is it possible to replace the bar on the hinge side that stops the door opening too far? Also the pin that it sits on, both the bar and pin on mine have worn big enough to just lift the bar off the pin.

Nice one, after seeing the price on the main arm part though, I'd be more tempted to weld and drill a new hole, or weld a washer of some sorts, new pin it is.
