Hi
Getting new car TOMORROW (2002 Disco ES Auto - CAN'T WAIT
) and it doesn't have a tow bar (how ridiculous
) so I got a quote from a mobile fitting man ... £250.
Then I looked on e-bay and I can get an A1 towbar for about £80 delivered plus a few £££s for the electrics and ball thingy-ma-jig. But I don't know if that's a good make, so checked for Witter ones, again I can buy it for under £150 with all the bits.
Dare I attempt to fit it myself?? Have you done it, are you a mechanical genius, how hard is it??? Have searched this time (thank you Charles
and realise I'd need an able assistant!)
Probably worth mentioning here that while I can diagnose / identify / etc all sorts of things with a horse, I can just about manage to put fuel in my car (Oh god, how embarrassing!!!!
)
Maybe I should see if a local garage can do it for a few £££s instead
