hi guys need some help
i have a v reg defender 2.5
issue one drivers door when you put key in the lock and pull key out it takes the barrel with it every time how do you fix this please.
issue 2 rear door has no barrel in it at all how is that fixed new lock and barrel or just a barrel.
issue 3 wheel on back door on the swing arm does not want to open/ pull away from rear door it wants to bend the plate thats on the back pannel rather than just glide over to the right to open the rear door i have noticed grease nipples on it help please.

Ref to the door lock coming out there is a clip that goes inside the door panel to secure the barrel prob just have come off
take off door card it will be lying inside the door

thx for the reply kev i thought that as well i took the door card of and seen this clip your on about so i thought it had broke cause clip was intact i looked at barrel when out and the reason im asking this is that the barrel did not look broken it had a flat smooth surface at the other end of it where the key goes in maybe if i had a pic of one that was complete i would see it was broken i will go look at google pics

Agreed, and if OP's door inner is anything like mine it'll be hiding in among the rust shrapnel at the bottom of the door

ok just had a look at pics there does not seem to be a bit for a clip on the barrel have a look and you will see what i mean but there is a small round ball on the end kinda like an extention bar for a ratchet it was a small ball bearing in the end of the extention to hold a socket on its very similar to that so still no further forward thanks anyway
