Recently bought a 1988 110 and found its alloys have no spacers fitted just some nice little washers. I am looking for a set of 4 so I can be safe!

Were the wheels catching anything? If not you don't need spacers. Fitting spacers does make the bearings go quicker.

Well currently they are not but then they have these washers to keep them clear. The alloys fitted are not original Land Rover ones but more a copy of the boost style. I have discs and drums and I think without the washers I have then the wheels would catch. I understand the bearing issue but I don't do massive miles as the landy is a second car.
