So -What are you saying?You don't need RAVE to bleed brakes.
The Rave books are really great and will help in so many ways.
The rave book had told me which wheel to bleed in order and it has told me there are no Special difference's to the normal way.

Not doubting RAVE but I rely on my wits, it really doesn't matter one iota which wheel you bleed first.
What I'm saying is just bleed your brakes any old how, it really doesn't matter which wheel you elect to bleed first, it will make no difference to the outcome.
What I will suggest in lieu of the magic software which can activate the ABS is to firstly do a primary bleed, then take vehicle to some slippy gravel or such like and get the ABS kicking in, do some major ABS exercises then do the bleed again, this ensures any stale and erstwhile 'module imprisoned' fluid is now released and able bled off.

When I am doing brakes, I get the pedal pressed down using something such as a hammer between the bottom of the seat and the pedal. That closes off the holes between the fluid resevoir and the master cylinder.
Do the calipers and you should lose only what is in each caliper.
THEN... open up the back wheel on the opposite side from where your master cylinder is and let it flow into a recepticle while keeping an eye on the level in the resevoir and top it up with new stuff. Then do the other rear wheel, then the front wheel furthest from the master cylinder and finally the nearest one.
If you do it this way, you "should" end up with no bubbles as there would be no air introduced into the system. Just buy a 5 litre container of brake fluid and let it run through the system to clean it out. Then take the old stuff in a sealed container to a council recycling centre and you have saved the planet into the bargain

Of topic......needed some red gloss paint, decided on screwfix and duly purchased some eco friendly water based stuff, 2 coats later was pullin ma hair oot, it was dire!
Furqueen useless stuff.
Paid a visit to Norland citing must be be lethal to fish at 30 yards, requires user to use max PPE and lastly must actually work, they duly sold me serious goods in a brown paper bag from under the counter, label said max permissible VOC per/L was 300mg, it had 299. Now we're cooking!!
It also worked, only 1 coat needed, DO NOT STIR it said, as if I thought

That's why all the 90's onwards red cars turned pink, shite paint

The ABS stuff that myfirstl322 mentions is not mentioned anywhere in the book so unless he knows another source of information?

just remember to remove whatever it is you use to jam down the brake pedal before bleeding process.... Otherwise no fluid will come through
Also, you should be able to gravity bleed, but failing that, use pressure bleeding or have someone press the pedal down & up. But "do" keep an eye on the level in the reservoir and top up as necessary

HI,
All done, all went well. Great advice. I used the seat forward /backward movement and jammed the brake pedal down.
I tested the brake fluid with a water test meter!! Was in the red. I changed it all out - Awful colour and full of water. Went well.
Changed the Discs. pads and calipers and fluid - £410-complete. I had some help to press pedal down etc.
