Hello all,
Recently bought a 1977 series 3 Station Wagon - might not have been an SW originally as it has a rag top tub. It seems very original in most other respects, i.e. interesting brakes and that famous ride quality! Still love it though.
Hi, Thanks for the welcome.
To be fair the brakes are adequate and the ride is part of the fun. I have owned 2 Series 2s, 2 Series 3s and 2 Defenders, (1 was a Ninety), previously and I chose a Series 3 out of preference this time.
Welcome....and a good choice. You'll know your way round the vehicle by the sounds. I have a SW and like you suspect it isn't original spec. Enjoy the landy as posted an appreciating classic.Hi, Thanks for the welcome.

Hey welcome to "theZone" @Paul LCB, you sound like a dyed-in-the-wool Landy fan, just like an old mate of mine here, he reckons Land Rover badges should only be allowed to be fitted to series and defenders, nothing else.Hi, Thanks for the welcome.
