No I have not driven a TDV6 to be honest.

But it's certainly not worth putting in a P38 at big money.

just read a bit on the body logic site and some attached articles, the 2.7 v6 disco conversion is £2950 coupled with an approx guess at £3000 for an engine. hardly worth doing

The ZF4HP22 is not even up to handling a chipped M51, I reckon you would have to use the ZF4HP24 which would be an easy swap as it was used on the 4.6.
