Can you tell me if the cylinder part the handle is fixed to is threaded or clearance drilled through. Also the thread coming out the bottom looks smaller dia than the top one ? Asking as I'm going to have a go at making them. Once I find someone with a metal lathe.i used one of these but limited to one size

Perfect, thanks. Just need some 1" long bits of bright bar with 5, 6, 8 & 10mm holes drilled through.

I would think its pressure on the shoulder on the rivnut, and the bottom of the drilled sleeve once you start tightening it. Like you, I've never used one so don't know. All will become clear once I have a go at making one....I hope.No idea - not used it. Wonder how they stop the Rivnut thread from turning?

Cost of the Rivnuts and bolts only. I got the bolts in 10 packs, and the Rivnuts in 25 packs. All in off eBay for about £12Tremendous!
What do you reckon was the total cost?
