So..after posting a week or two ago bout a rear suspension issue I had with my disco 2 , 2002 td5 i took it to the landrover dealership who replaced the air suspension sensors.Driving it back down south it has just cut out whilst in the fast lane. Coasted onto the hard shoulder and now it won't start.
It turns over but wont start up, the check oil and battery lights are both on.
Have checked the oil and there is plenty in there. Whilst I wait for the roadside recovery anyone got any bright ideas about what the issue could be?

Might sound silly,

but have you tried getting out, locking it and then unlocking on the fob.

Good luck.

Cheers

can you hear the fuel pump buzzing when the ignition is turned on ?
No it doesn't get to that. Just being recovered to the garage now. There is deisal coming out the back from about 50 yards down the road so looks like a fuel pump or something went?

If its leaking fuel its probably the pipes too/from the tank.
Seems to have been a run on those going on here!
The leaky pipes dont usually cause a breakdown though, but maybe the garage disturbed something when they did the work.

Sounds plausible. It's with the garage now so will see. It seems my dogs and this Disco are working together to ensure my monthly paycheque is spent only on repair/vets bills..
