Just checked the part number (yes, I've nothing better to do ATM) and see it's a polybush set for all the bushes. From peoples experience on here they do say poly will make the ride much harsher. I replaced my front radius arm bushes with poly after the OE ones I fitted a couple of years earlier failed. I have not noticed any change but they are the only ones on the car.:)

Hi iv just done mine ,had to cut them out with a thin grinding disk,All went well new bolts but torque is125 nm.which seem a bit light on the radius bolts.,tighter the better ..the old bushes came out with a small chisel down the side and a big socket n a hammer no 20 ton press needed..the new ones were two part polly easy .good luck..

Hope you remembered to copper slip the bolts so they come out easier next time, and there will be a next time.;):D

Why would you need them any tighter? A five ton press would more than likely get them out using good tooling. Poly bushes won't last anywhere near as long as proper bushes. Easier to change though i suppose. ;)

so should i get poly ones or would it be a better ride with something else.plus what is the best place to get them. what should i be paying

Suspension will seem a little tauter with new bushes, but have a minimal effect on ride as such, it's the airbags and shocks that provide the ride qualities not the radius arm bushes. The ones in the front of the radius arms are there to stop axle windup and to flex as the axle articulates. The ones at the back of the front radius arms are just pivots. If your existing bushes are knackered you will notice a slight tightening up of the suspension when you fit new ones. Personally i would not fit poly bushes but each to their own.

+1 as a no to polybush - i fitted mine as a last resort due to a broken press late 2015....they will be coming out this summer. OEM bushes have lasted 15 years so might as well do it properly!

Rimmer Bros do the original bushes but they do look a little pricey. I ought to do mine but I'm hanging on ...

Remember that the front radius are bushes are oversize and are difficult to fit into the smaller hole, now where have I heard that before?
