Just chasing down the EAS fault on my '99 P38 that made me limp back down the M6 on bump stops a week or two ago....
I thought I'd save time and get a local mech to run a test book on it and it diagnosed the EAS fault as the rear offside valve in the block stuck open. This emptied the system, timed out the compressor etc etc. He said all the v/vs opened and closed fine on the testbook except the rear offside which was sticky. He got it moving, and the motor is fine, but it's clearly an intermittent that I need to deal with. He recommended a "valve block refurb kit" and reckoned that I couldn't replace the individual valves.
I've done a quick web search and can't find any valve kits - just compressor refurbs, airline replacements and spring kits.
Any advice?
