Hi,

Hopefully an easy one. I have RTFM but can't see it mentioned.

The mirrors don't adjust down, all other directions are fine just the down. I select the mirror [left or right] using the switch then press down and nothing.

Is there a common problem on these or do I need to do something special to move the mirror down?

Yep. That's the odd thing.

Oh? That is odd. Chances of both motors developing the same fault is very slim. Try pressing one of the mirrors to force it up, then try down again. Could just be the mirrors have been moved by someone who didn't know they were powered. Mike

Yep I assume it's not the motors.

Tried giving them a push and it's a no go too.

If it's not some trick to get the mirrors to move down I'll grab another switch at some point Better fix the gearbox first though LOL

No, you don't need to know a special hand shake or owt. Mine go up an down on the button. Mike

Clean the contacts in the switch with some electrical contact cleaner, it works on the R75 mirror switches which have the same problem worth a try.

I suspect it could be the switch even though it folds the mirrors in it uses another section to adjust the mirrors, but there is nothing to loose trying switch cleaner

Yup. I will be whipping out the switch at the weekend and giving it a clean. Failing that it's replacement time

The main thing I wanted to check was that there wasn't a super secret squirrel way of adjusting them
