I've got a td5 90, when I fitted a new door seal on the drivers side it has left a gap at the top.

The passenger side is fine! Any ideas?

Yep. Hand built nature and the doors don't match. My defender was the same so I bent my door top a bit to snug it up

Grab the bottom and top of door and twist top in.

Was it a Britpart seal ?
Did it seal before ?
You could always move the striker plate a little if need be to pull it in a few more mm but if it works and closes, locks and unlocks now...

It is about a 5mm gap!

Try putting the old seal back on to ascertain if the new seal is the problem.

Does the door close flush - if not adjust the catcher.

Are the hinges OK?

Does the new seal fit tightly on the lip?
