hi everyone, thanks for helping with, your advice on the cupboards, ive decided on getting my dad to build me some custom built ones, as soon as his done ill post a pic,

on another subject im looking at painting my landrover 110, but i want a really really lairy colour (but not pink lol) im thinking of lime green, but i was wondering if anyone else could suggest colours, im going to roller paint it , and i know that ill need to sand down the truck before i prime and paint it, but i cant think of any other colours at the mo,

Yea that lime green Leyland did for the allegro. I had one of them, an estate.
The hippo reminds me of it. Anyway you might get that colour cheap.

no definatly not, i see im reaching many of you with the green then lol, what other colours would you suggest, im board with silver (thats the colour i have) reds. black etc thats what everyone has, i want something a little different, g4 orange is old now, i want some thing lairy lol

Anonymous colourings and blending in with the back-ground has worked very well for animals in Africa, you would do well to follow the same example for your travels through Africa. ....................in the Uk being seen out on the street driving something looking like a 'tart's handbag' will only make people think who's the 'W*nker'....you have been warned.

A few of my favourites.... Abcess green, Boil yellow, Bellend purple or even some tartan paint would look nice too.. have you thought of wallpapering it? loads of choice

Nah go for dyno-rod luminous orange with black trim.

Or you could go for the graffiti look ,enlist the help of some local graffiti artists, it would be constantly updated,no need to worry about scratches and it would blend in well in any urban area. ( Anti theft camouflage )

ha ha dyno rod orange, now thats a cool colour lol, i have just found a pic of a lime green landy, its ok i guess, but i can see where your coming from (it didnt look bad on some of the cars parked in the car park but it looks a little rought on a landy) i think either stick with the silver, or g4 orange, thanks people

now that looks smart.
personally id paint it something 'quiet' , especially if you plan to fill it full of expensive kit and take it to Africa.last thing you want is your land rover screaming 'look at me , look at me , I'm a w*****s wagon full of expensive kit' . 'rob me'.
also a hand job in bright colors might not look too good.
when i done mine i was going to paint it white , just plain boring white , you wouldn't give a white landy a second glance. painted it caladonian blue in the end just to 'blend in'.
