[Disc300Series]

Ok I've changed both top rear light bulbs, brake lights work fine but when I switch the lights on only the bottom bumper lights come on. Asked a cahp who had a 300 tdi and was told there's something else to get the rear top lights to come on....is this true ??? its a 1996 tdi.

Can anyone with a disco advise...help please.

Your rear top lights should be on.If they are not you have a bad conection,broken wire etc...... and the only "something else" to do is to put a volt tester/light bulb to see if you are getting current and if not trace it back

I found on mine there is a "rear fog enhancement" (or something to that effect)switch located just to the left of the gage cluster/speedo...when pressed it turns on my rear upper running lights. mine is the second toggle switch down from the top on the left side. This was an export model though so not sure if it helps you or not...

Early 300 tdis didnt have the wiring to illuminate the top tailights iirc.
