Hi All,
I have recently purchased a facelift Freelander 2.5 V6 with 50k miles. I'm having a problem with the car where on tight corners there is a vibration coming from the center of the car underneath.
The following work has been done so far to try to remedy it:
My local Land Rover specialist thinks that it is the VCU bearings still.
I have disconnected the prop and ran in 2wd only mode and the vibration is not there.
The one thing that is wrong is that the front joint where the prop joins on to the IRD has wept all of its grease out.
Im left with thinking it could be one of the following:
Thanks

- Bearmach VCU bearings are crap.
- What are the symptoms of a faulty rear diff?
- Could the front gaitor having lost most of its grease be causing this?
Thanks
