New series three owner, still glowing and very nervous about theft. Best way to secure when no garage. Please!

This isn't securing but more of a scaring deterrent wire a direct feed from the ignition to the horn with a hidden switch for example under the dash or seats

I put a simple switch in the coil + wire in my Series 2. Also it didn't have a locking bonnet so I put a hasp & padlock on (there is a hasp made for Landie bonnets).

Leave the transfer box in neutral to confuse a thief. Fit an alarm immobiliser, hidden cutoff switch- or hidden in plain sight and labelled as something else- steering locks etc. Ultimately unless you weld it down there's nothing stopping someone lifting it onto a truck, but any sort of visual deterrent is a good thing.

Hello izzy01 and :welcome: now sod off and introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your Landy! ;)

See. I can be nice :D :D

Left on full lock with a full disklok type steering guard comes out well in Rattys survey thefts/attempted thefts as a stand alone security measure. A combination of the above suggestions will deter more attempts as anything is only a deterrent.

If stolen a tracker is your best chance of getting it back.

a nice peice of rsj sunk into the floor with a nice 20mm steel rod shaped to fit round the axle curled at both ends to go through the slots in the rsj then two old gun metal padlocks stoped the gits trying to hiab my sons away.
