I've just bought a roof mounted DVDS player of Ebay! £31 quid plus postage.

I thought, that looks a bargain! Then realised I probably don't have the correct cables or anything else that is required to get the damn thing to work!

I presume it shares the power supply that the lights have, but unsure if their is a speaker connection up their?

Any one got any info on these things( it's the genuine flip down one)

Bet you'll need all the other gubbins for it to work as it probably gets its signals from the OEM head unit

No mate! They are a stand alone unit, that replaces / incorporates the lights in the rear middle of the roof.
The screen drops down and you pop in your DvD.

It has a connection for power and a connection for speakers?

They are very rare units, so I'm unsure if Landrover would have ran all the cables?

If not it's going back on eBay

Trying to find any details on Internet about it is hard!

Never seen the unit before

Must of been for the earlier models as
I though the rear seat entertainment on the later models were in the headrests
They are certainly linked to the main stereo screen too

It's a Rosen unit. Made to work in conjunction with rear screens

I will take advise from audio experts when it arrives
