If the Front diff recall hasn't been done and it strips you lose drive!

It's not losing drive. When the messages come up it drives fine, when no messages, suspension goes up and down, hdc works, but car brakes feel like they're locked on. Front diff has been done.

So what do they mean by 'coupling'??

Are they referring to the Transfer Box centre diff..??

The P38 used a viscous coupling...the L322 uses a complex torque sensing device called the Torsen Type B Torque Sensing and Torque Biasing Centre Differential...

I went out just now, messages are up, air sus inactive, hdc.inactive, abs. Car moving fine. Also noticed other day when no messages, as soon as I touched the brake, you could feel abs coming on.

I think they dropped the excellent Torsen diff on later cars?

Well it's away to garage now. So who wants to guess what the problem is? Prize for the winner. Lol
Duff brake switch, ABS ECU or loom if the ABS is playing up, but I would guess that the garage will practice emptying your wallet before they manage to fix it.

+1 ABS Sensor. Lost offside rear sensor a few months ago after going through a deep Ford. System ABS pulses defective wheel as gets no signal it's rotating, if you drive through it, system throws up ABS, Air Susp fault. Car runs fine.
