Ive bought a new galv chassis to replace my 87 chassis.

Ive bought this with the td5/tdci rear fuel tank mounts option.
Now ive got a tank guard and a plastic tank ,but i'm wonder how its strapt on ?

The discoverys have a steel strap on top, but with the defender 90's
i can't find how its attached to the chassis .

Anyone who knows ? Also is there some kind of foam on the onderside between
the tank guard and the tank ?

The tank isn't strapped in, the guard holds it up which is bolted to the chassis.
And it's not going to come out once the tubs on.

+1 it is such a tight it there is nowhere for it to go

a bit strange that fuel tank with 55 L,
is kept in place just like that.

No rattels also ?

Fit the tank and guard to your chassis and see what you think.
As James said their is nowhere for it to go.

If your bothered about it just put some foam on top of the tank for added security from the tub

Should have rubber/foam type round discs at each side of the tank to stop side to side movement then cradle and tub do the rest👍👍👍👌 used closed cell foam strips on my R.o.w chassis from marslands
