Right here she is i thought i would post my own project thread so people can see and also so i can look back at it once it is all done 1995 discovery 1 bobtail 3.9 v8 petrol 130k on the clock and it needs a hole lot of work my plan is to get the chassis out asap and get it welded and galvanised but for now im just tarting her up until i have got a free day or so to drop the engine and chassis this is what i have done so far hope you all enjoy
First day i got it and give it a good clean
then i took a few picks sorry for the bad light but you get the gist of it
Than i started stripping it down wasn't happy with the lights and winch bumper as they were dated and paint was flaking off so it all came off
the previous owner painted the floor blue it was also starting to flake and look perished so i thought i would grind it all off and hammerited it all black
I then started to sand it all down ready for the new colour i think its new name is the giant pea i have only managed to do the first coat as you may notice i am roller painting it, while i was at it i took the side steps off and brought them back to life as well with some left over hammerite
Then the horrid side steps that were a nightmare to grind but it was worth it in the end
And that is it up to now hopefully get it sanded and another coat of paint tonight i have just got some goodies in the post as well so as soon as she is painted i will be putting everything back on and have some more pictures for you all to see thanks for looking
