Got a small leak from one of the oil feed pipes probably a worn out ring, anyone used this stuff before/can recommend a brand?

From experience, if the "O" ring is worn or perished there is no point in trying or using a "Magic Fix". Who knows what effect it will have when floating around the lubrication system
Personally, I would just replace the "O"ring, for the sake of a few pence and sleep tight afterwards !!! :tea::amen::bolt:

Is it the pipe near the filter? The rover L series had a habbit of corroding those pipes on the car, haven't heard of it on the freelander yet but thought I better speak up incase it was. You don't want it to blow one day because guaranteed it will be in an awkward place at the wrong time

Yeah it's that one, pipes are corroded but it's actually leaking from the larger nut/stud that one of the pipes goes into, I will be swapping them out but can't afford it this year they ain't cheap..

As for the products their designed to go into the engine oil, all they do is soften, swell and condition the seals plus the valve seals and others it's not like a bars leak/kseal that's filling holes, I don't thing mines split as it's a very minor leak more annoying than an issue..

My oil pump leaks and covers all them pipes. You sure it's not that?

Not 100% sure but it appears to be coming from the 32mm stud/nut threads, its more of a mild weap I think tbh
