If I have a full tank I don't have any trouble with starting, when it almost half the troubles starts. The car starts normal but falls out and starts very badly again. What could be the problem?

rotten pickup pipe in the tank? you need to say details about your vehicle , age,engine ect....

Also blocked tank breather in fuel cap / tired lift pump, though pick up pipe as mentioned suspect.
Does it run with low fuel level???

If i getting the car started it runs without problems.

its worth saying on this thread the details of your landy

as its a TD5 it could be a few things , injector washers and O-rings ?

I have a similar problem with mine , sometimes it spins for 10 secs other times its instant starting

is its just with a low fuel level you have this problem? possible fuel pump? pressure regulator?

Its a td5 from 1999, the problems starting with tank level arround half, with full tank no problem for 200km after than troubles starting. Car starts and spins few seconds and stops. Seems if the filter is empty and must start for 10 seconds with full trottle before he spins again normal
