Hi, my much loved defender 90 was stolen on 5 April 2007 from Cobden view road, Crookes, Sheffield some time in the early morning.

1988 defender 90 2.5 TD

Green (with white roof and wheels)

No mods except fitted with a series roof (in white) which is dented on the nearside rear corner and has a CB ariel in the middle.

Reg No: E642 VOG

Thats very nearly the car crime capital of south yorkshire, i used to live at Fulwood and thats a posh bit, stuff was always gettin nicked from there !!!!!

Well, maybe it wuz one of those imobilisers that dunt bolt the vehicle to the ground in the event of an attempted theft?.................or brick the owner in the chops.

Shall keep my eyes and ears open over this side of the Pennines, eBay will be a good place to look out for parts if it has been broken up, at least hopefully the roof will be easily spotted. Could be worth checking on each TD engine that appears on eBay for engine numbers ( a straight seller should help if your situation is explained), same with gearbox if they state mileage covered, same with make and size of tyres. I hope that you are reunited with your 90 soon and the theiving scumbags are locked up.
