Wot he said.
Sidelights and dipped direct from switch, and main beam from relay R1 as Winu pointed out.

ok lads thanks for all your help in steering me back to the right direction after someones bad advice here my problem if anyone can help

o/s side light not working

o/s rear light not working

dashboard illumination not working

glove box light not working

and the alarm that tell me i have left my lights on not working

all the bulbs are ok as are the fuses

the earth is ok

any one help ?

Download RAVE and check which fuse powers these lights and check the fuse and the wiring to and from it.

Is there any reason for not having a relay added to dipped so it turns off with the ignition?

Many "off roader" cars provide a full lighting when ignition turning off - to light up workplace with shovel when stuck :D

Sounds v much like the o/s sidelight fuse has blown. Dash lights always run from one sidelight or other!
