Is it possible to remove the Cowling without removing the steering wheel?

If you mean the cowl over the instrument pack. Then yes, but you must remove the lower footwell panel below the steering wheel for access to two screws at the bottom cowl positions. Pull the wheel out as far as you can and down as far as you can to get cowl out.

Thanks Wammers, but I meant the steering column cowling, the one the control arms come out off? I have another in wood to fit. :)

Yes ok, it can be removed but you will need to remove the instrument binnacle cover as previously described first.
