My power steering has decided to only partially work its like it's on the setting for when the car is being driven at speed.Whilst I do have some assistance at low speed it's not the full power.My conclusion is its probably not the pump.It happened around the time I was having battery issues.Anyone got any ideas ?

Possibly the servotronic valve...this is what varies the assistance amount....

Thanks for that.Found some more threads on the subject and it doesn't see to be that uncommon a problem.
